Pangea Resources

Perhaps the most sinister corporate and
nuclear threat Australia has ever faced.

Pangea Resources is an American company established to promote, design, build and operate a high-level waste disposal site in Australia. They are deadly serious, and are building a high-level support network of politicians, academics and industry big-wigs.

It is known that David Pentz was making presentations to Australian investors as early as 1992 in Australia, concerning the Pangea proposal. This included WMC and other mining companies. Presumably this includes other members of the Synroc Study Group such as ERA, (then) CRA, BHP and ANSTO.

Pangea are majority owned by UK government-owned British Nuclear Fuels Ltd (BNFL; 70%), consulting engineers Golder Associates (Canadian; 15%) and the Swiss government's NAGRA (15%).

Enterra Holdings Ltd, based in Canada, is the parent company of Golder Associates, an international geotechnical engineering company, who employ over 1,800 personnel in more than 75 offices throughout the world. Pangea was created specifically to explore the global repository concept and is a spin-off from Golder Associates. They have much experience in the world pushing radioactive waste repositories that get rejected, including the infamous failure at Nirex in the UK. In fact, it was the failure of these sites which prompted members of Golders, such as David Pentz, to form Pangea.
