The Registration tent with the ROXSTOP banner including the signature of every participant, plus some very supportive tourists too!
An important part of ROXSTOP '97 was the Kidz Space for kids of all ages (left). Food Not Bombs, our main caterers, sold vegan food for the masses.
ROXSTOP '97 included many workshop on nuclear issues, the history of the anti-uranium movement in Australia, a Roxby workshop, and the rest.
A Solar Trailer by Brendan English from PlasmaTronics, makers of solar powered equipment and facilities. The trailer generates about 75 W of power - perfect for camping in the great Aussie outdoors.
Gavin Mudd, Joan Wingfield & Dr David Richardson.
Graffiti found in the public toilets of Roxby Downs :
"An eternity of radioactive waste is not worth any amount of money. We want a future for our children without extra body bits. Lies don't last 250,000 years."
