Southern Cross Resources finally released the new Environmental Impact Statement on June 5 (2000) - World Environment Day of all days to be ironic - for their proposed development of the Honeymoon Uranium deposit using the Acidic In Situ Leach (ISL) mining technique.
There was over 1,000 submissions to the Honeymoon EIS !!!!! Supplementary EIS released in mid November 2000.....
