Australia's very own nuclear thinktank established in 1978 to spread propaganda about the nuclear industry. Funded entirely by uranium mining companies and explorers (uranium hopefuls that is!).The UIC is now run by theologically-inclined biologist and former school teacher Ian Hore-Lacy, who worked for CRA in public and corporate relations (propaganda). UIC produce a free bi-monthly newsletter, as well as a Weekly News service on the web and zillions of briefing papers of nuclear propaganda - equal to the best in the world !
The Centre was established by Derek Hampson, who was also its General Manager for 16 years until 1995 when Ian Hore-Lacy took over.
