Pima Mining NL

Pima Mining are a small exploration company with definite interests in uranium. It's main uranium project is Lake Torrens, in the area directly next to Olympic Dam, SA. Pima are searching for massive "Olympic Dam"-type mineral deposits containing copper-uranium-gold. They have found a large areal magnetic anomaly within Lake Torrens and are now actively drilling the prospect. Initial results have failed to interesect mineralisation. A large part of the exploration lease has been surrendered, and efforts are being maintained to continue exploration drilling in a Joint Venture which was recently established with Billiton and Minotaur Gold, who together can earn 75-90% on the project.

Pima have recently been increasing their commitment to a major magnesium mining and metal project near Roxby, mining ore in the Willouran Ranges and processing it at a processing and refining plant in Port Augusta. The project - SAMAG Ltd - is hailed as a major project and economic boom for the Gulf region of SA - this is despite the fact that Roxby was hailed in similar platitudes that have fallen miserably short.
