now Bambuu Ltd - an Internet Company !!
Ocean Resources was a small exploration company, with links to uranium exploration across Arnhem Land in the 1970's boom period. In the 1990's, Ocean were focusing primarily on diamond projects in Western Australia and Indonesia (with little success). Due to the poor showing in Indonesia for diamonds, Ocean tried to renew their uranium exploration efforts again in Arnhem Land, also looking for gold and whatever else at the same time. The Joint Venture projects included the Arrarra Prospect with PNC Exploration and Genesis Resources, and at the East Alligator River Prospect with PNC again.

After the difficulties of raising capital, the severe global downturn in mineral commodities, and the fantastic global upsurge in internet stocks, Ocean Resources announced their intention to quit the mineral exploration business and purchase internet company "Goalmappers Pty Ltd" on February 22, 1999. There has been no reported activity on their East Alligator River (Arnhem Land) leases in the last six months. By July 1999, they had changed their name to Bambuu Ltd, and were born anew.

Let's wish yet another uranium explorer goodbye!
