1982 "Honeymoon Occupation - Closed by the People"
by Friends of the Earth (Fitzroy) 50 min Doc.

Notes - Documents the national campaign which led to the 24-hour blockade of the Honeymoon trial ISL uranium mine. Excellent footage of the blockade and surrounding events and region. Includes good political overview of the time (early 1980's).

Notes - Documents the heady period of the late 1960's and early 1970's where many mining and exploration companies mined the stock market rather than ore bodies. Excellent dossier of the Nabarlek fiasco and Queensland Mines Ltd.

Ross Annabell - Rigby Publishers. 173 pages Book

Notes - history of Rum Jungle, South Alligator, some of Mary Kathleen, the uranium exploration frenzy, political satire and good ole fashioned Top End yarns! Annabell was a journalist and the book is easy reading.

1977 "Ground For Concern - Australia's Uranium and Human Survival"
Ed. Mary Elliott for Friends of the Earth. Penguin Books. 235 pages Book

Notes - campaign and educational book. History of mining (excellent dossier of Rum Jungle), nuclear power and reactor safety, radioactive waste management, nuclear weapons proliferation, and the political scene - stopping the "nuclear juggernaut". Highly informative.
